At the heart of Complete Neuropsychology, P.C. is Dr. Sara Malagold, founder and director. A Uruguayan-born Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with 30+ years of international experience across Argentina, Israel, and the United States.
Dr. Malagold specializes in the early detection of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral outcomes related to brain injuries, medical conditions, and CNS dysfunctions. From early in her career, she has been driven to understand how biological systems shape human behavior, dedicating her work to studying the integration of biology, psychology, and psycho-immuno-neuro-endocrinology. Her leadership in neuropsychology departments and contributions to research on Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and TBI reflect this lifelong commitment.
Dr. Malagold has published research in prestigious journals such as The Neurology Journal and has lectured internationally on cognitive deficits in neuropsychiatric disease. As a multilingual clinician fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Hebrew, she is committed to culturally informed, patient-centered care.
Today, she leads the team at Complete Neuropsychology with a focus on excellence, compassion, and rigorous clinical training.
She is also the author of the book Más loco que una cabra (Crazier Than a Goat). Blending personal stories, clinical insights, and accessible psychology, the book encourages readers to recognize their own inner strength, understand toxic relationship patterns, break free from harmful dynamics, and challenge long-held fears and misconceptions. Originally published in Spanish, the book is available on Amazon and is currently being translated into English.
